PPL(A) - PRACTICE

After theory, it’s time for practice!

The PPL(A) license is a basic entitlement that allows you to fulfill your dreams of independent piloting of an aircraft or take the first step towards a professional license.

The training consists of three stages: learning basic piloting skills, instrument flights and en-route navigation flights. In total, it is a minimum of 45 hours maximally focused on gaining practical knowledge and skills. You can be sure that our instructors will take you under their wing and help you overcome difficulties at every stage of the training. Together we will pave the way so that after obtaining the license you can confidently spread your wings on your own.

The training is carried out on a proven, excellent piloting Piper PA-38 Tomahawk or a modern Viper SD4 – an aircraft with a glass cockpit avionics. A theoretical course must be completed before starting practical training.

Requirements:
– be at least 16 years of age before the first solo flight;
– be at least 17 years of age at the time the license is issued;
– valid medical certificate of at least 2nd class;
– certificate of completion of theoretical training for the PPL(A) license.

Practical training for the PPL(A) license consists of three stages: learning basic piloting skills, instrument flights and en-route navigation flights. In total, it is a minimum of 45 hours maximally focused on gaining practical knowledge and skills. You can be sure that our instructors will take you under their wing and help you overcome difficulties at every stage of the training. Together we will pave the way so that after obtaining the license you can confidently spread your wings on your own.

– certificate of completion of theoretical training for the PPL(A) license.

This is an individual matter, depending mainly on the availability of the student and the weather.
On average, it takes approx. 30 flying days.

The condition for joining the practical training is the completion of the theoretical training. Exams at the Civil Aviation Authority can be taken simultaneously during practical training.

A medical certificate of at least class 2 is a prerequisite for obtaining a license. They must be delivered no later than before the first solo flights. However, we recommend that you take care of this beforehand.

Definitely not. This is one of the myths that aviation is shrouded in.
It all depends on what vision defect you have, but the mere fact of wearing glasses/lenses does not disqualify you from obtaining a certificate.
Civil aviation assumes greater margins in adjudicating fitness than the standards for military aviation. Therefore, if for some reason you were disqualified from flying during the military tests, it does not mean that you do not meet the requirements for civil aviation.
